Guild introduced Nylon/Classical Series instruments in 1961. Steeped in Spanish and German traditions, these classical guitars were considered the pinnacle of U.S.-made classical instruments at the time. Guild's new classical guitars come from those same traditions, combining fine craftsmanship and true value.
The GAD-C1 classical guitar has a solid American red cedar top, solid mahogany back and sides, bone nut, bone compensated saddle, one-piece mahogany neck, all wood binding and purfling, ebony fingerboard, rosewood bridge, 52 mm nut width and 650 mm scale length.
